I'm often in the same situation as Deathbound in that I'm in currently in a GMT+3 zone and can't attend many of our dungeon runs because of work. Still, whenever I'm on I'm up for most group activities.

I'm mainly using sword / pistol on my Mesmer and it works quite well. Pistol has a good single-target DPS illusion, while sword has a skill that makes you invulnerable and deals lots of AoE damage. Basically, these skills allow you to do well without setting up a lot of illusions.

Alright, it looks like you must accept the invite on the character who received the invite. I was visiting my Warrior when I got the invite, so I couldn't join on my Necro. After I switched back to the Warrior, I could join just fine, but the guild interface still doesn't let my Necro represent or chat. Oh well.

Got the invite, clicked Join, nothing happened. Clicked join ten times more and... yep, nothing happened. Looks like it's bugged.

I'm on Master Of Darkness, the greatest Asuran Necromancer of all times. Feel free to invite me when possible.

Many (maybe even most) Europeans have the login server issue. It's almost certainly not on our end. Until it's fixed, you can spam the login button to get in, but it takes a while.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23 years old guy from Finland. I work part-time as a software designer while studying bioinformatics at a local university. My display name is dekou.6012. I've played video games since I was six and enjoy almost all genres equally, although various RPGs have always appealed to me more than other games.

I'm more of a SP RPG guy than an MMO player, to be honest, because I hate forced, easy grind with passion. My all-time favorite is Planescape: Torment. However, I've also played a number of MMOs, starting with Anarchy Online back when it was new and shiny. I still love the ideas behind its character development system. Afterwards, I tried WoW, UO, Aion, TERA, TOR, TSW and probably some other games I don't remember. I also spent over 1200 hours in GW1, so you could say I'm a pretty big fan of this franchise.

I still don't know who my main character is going to be. I do know that I'm going to create a Mesmer named Fabulous Max, a Thief, a Necro, an Elementalist and a Warrior. I'm almost happy GW2 doesn't give you eight character slots for free, because then I'd have eight characters.

Why am I attracted to this community? Well, initially I stumbled here because Merovingian posts on and seems to be a smart guy, so I thought the guild he's in is probably not too bad. I read some of your posts and you seem to be calm, mature people who won't shout "GOGOGO" or "y u sux so lot???" during dungeon runs too often and can speak English much better than other supposedly English-speaking parts of the Internet. Between studies and work, I'll be occupied for eight or so hours a day and I also have a girlfriend to entertain and friends to visit, so calm, mature and casual is what I want. Looks like I'd be one of the youngest members, but I'm pretty bad at being young, so I think it's going to work out fine.

I guess that's all. I know it's a bit late to post this, but then again, I'm not in a hurry to get a guild, so I wouldn't mind getting invited later on. As a side note, when I registered yesterday your registration told me to wait for an e-mail from your admin. I didn't get one, so I suppose it's malfunctioning.
